Acting
Acting Syllabus learners develop their vocal, physical and interpretive skills while they delve into fun and exciting characters whilst exploring the background of dramatic texts. They also gain an understanding of the context and characters within them.
Verse and Prose
Speaking Verse and Prose learners develop a whole host of skills, from speaking clearly and using voice projection, to improving memorisation and building an understanding of all sorts of poetry and prose selections which also supports studies within the English sector of the school curriculum.
Speaking in Public
Speaking in public exams prepare young people for a task that daunts so many of us. Preparing them for speaking at school, university, the workplace and even family events. Learners write their own speeches, research their chosen topics and present them in an a fun and engaging way from memory.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre learners develop acting & movement skills through song. Students use vocal techniques to convey the right mood, and engage with the material to form a thoughtful and entertaining interpretation of their chosen songs.
How does it work?
We run 121 classes before, during & after the school day. Lessons can be arranged by a fixed weekly slot or via a rotational termly timetable, this ensures that pupils do not miss the same academic lesson each half term.
We also run weekend 121 solo, group classes & school holiday workshops in North London & Hertfordshire (Mill Hill & Berkhamsted). Online classes are also available via Zoom. We offer a complimentary taster class to all new pupils.

What is LAMDA?
LAMDA stands for London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. LAMDA qualifications are recognised and respected around the world. They can also help students gain admission to universities (with UCAS points awarded for Grade 6-8) and further opportunities in the performing arts.
